Swiss M1918 bayonet for the K31 Schmidt-Rubin rifle, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz (maker’s mark on the blade). Serial number 83418 — a very low, early issue number, which adds to its collectible value. The blade is in excellent condition, with no nicks and never sharpened, showing only minor traces from the spring. The grip is intact with no cracks, and both the guard and grip retain their nickel-plated finish in outstanding condition. The scabbard is black-finished steel, perfectly straight and free of dents, with a Swiss cross stamped on the tip. The leather frog is supple, without tears, and bears clear markings on the reverse. Overall length approx. 45 cm, blade length approx. 30 cm. The set is preserved in superb collectible condition.
