Original German parade bayonet K98 manufactured by Heinrich Böker & Co., Solingen. The blade bears the early and less common Böker trademark featuring the profile of a man with a pipe above the SOLINGEN marking, indicating an early production period. This variant of the Böker logo is encountered far less frequently than the well-known tree emblem and is of particular interest to collectors.
The blade is in excellent condition with a bright mirror finish, showing no corrosion, damage, or improper sharpening. The geometry remains crisp and well preserved. The grip scales are intact with no cracks or chips, and all metal fittings are tight and undamaged. The piece presents extremely well overall.
The bayonet comes complete with its scabbard, a black leather belt frog made of soft, supple leather, and a leather knot with a yellow acorn. The set displays beautifully and has strong collector appeal.
An early and scarce Böker example in outstanding condition, making it a highly desirable piece for collectors of German Solingen edged weapons.
