Early Iron Cross 2nd Class clasp manufactured by Otto Schickle in Pforzheim. This is an early nickel-silver (tombac) construction with soldered-on prongs. The piece is in excellent condition with attractive, natural patina. No repairs, no damage. All prongs remain fully intact. Schickle clasps are known for being thicker and heavier than those of other makers, reflecting the high-quality early production.
Included is a turquoise LDO case in excellent condition, with the LDO logo stamped on the inside of the lid.
