An exceptionally rare Spanish version of the 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. It was awarded to volunteers of the so-called Blue Division (Blue Division), who fought on the Eastern Front as part of the Wehrmacht during World War II.
The cross features a one-piece construction with a brass (non-magnetic) core. The core is almost entirely covered with its original black paint.
Condition is excellent. This type of cross is very rarely encountered and would make an outstanding addition to any collection.
