For sale is an early Hitler Youth knife with motto, manufactured by Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen-Foche.
The blade is clearly marked with the manufacturer’s name “Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen-Foche” and features the company’s trademark — a pyramid with a cross (plus sign) inside. The blade remains unsharpened and retains the original Hitler Youth motto, “Blut und Ehre!” (“Blood and Honor!”). It also preserves its original factory crossgraining, an important indicator that the blade has not been polished or refinished.
The grip is fitted with the original enameled Hitler Youth diamond insignia, which is completely intact and free of any damage. The insignia shows the slight movement typical of the original factory mounting, a characteristic commonly found on untouched examples.
The scabbard retains its original factory finish with no signs of repainting, restoration, or alteration. The leather shows only light signs of age and use, while remaining soft, supple, and fully intact.
