First model (1934/35) – Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch) by Alcoso of Solingen. The blade is in excellent condition, with a mirror-like finish and a clear maker’s mark, tightly fitted, with a perfect tip.
The scabbard body is made of steel with a blue pebbled leather covering, showing almost no signs of wear. The hilt is flawless, and the wooden grip is covered in blue Moroccan leather, tightly wrapped with springy copper wire. The pommel and the three-section guard with its elegant downward slope are in excellent condition. The blade measures 310 mm and clearly bears the Alcoso Solingen maker’s mark.
Overall, this is an exceptional set, preserving the original beauty and craftsmanship of Alcoso.
