This fine Heer (Army) example features an excellent hilt with bright nickel plating, which remains about 90% intact. The plating shows only minor signs of age. The mortise button and blade release function perfectly. The rifle slot retains its original red felt insert. The grip plates are of black checkered type, both in perfect condition, secured by nickel-plated steel rivets with dressed heads on the obverse.

The scabbard is straight throughout and retains outstanding original paint. Attached to it is a black leather frog, forming a very attractive scabbard and frog combination.

The blade is a finely nickel-plated example, still bright throughout and easily in near mint condition. The obverse is plain, of the wide fuller construction type. The reverse ricasso is stamped with the WKC maker mark. The original brown leather blade washer remains intact.

An excellent example for any collection, remaining in very good overall condition.
