Wound badge in black by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Tombak construction with soldered on set up. Maker marked with the LDO code of S&L "L/16" on the reverse of the helmet. The badge remains in excellent condition with all glossy black paint intact. The award comes in its original blue LDO case of issue with LDO logo on the inside.
