An excellent K98 bayonet in outstanding collector's condition.
The bayonet and scabbard bear matching serial number 9976 i. Both the blade and scabbard are maker-marked Coppel G.m.b.H. and dated 1938.
The blade is in excellent condition, has never been sharpened, and retains a significant amount of its original blued finish. The scabbard also preserves much of its original blued finish and remains in very good condition.
The bayonet is fitted with its original bakelite grips, which are in excellent condition.
The bayonet comes complete with its original black leather frog, which is also well preserved.
