Very rare and hard to find ‘Deutsches Reichspost’ bus (busses, coaches, trams…) eagle executed in alloy. This eagle might be a bit smaller, but is much rarer than a standard railroad eagle. This is a textbook ‘bus’ example with double ‘V’ marking on the reverse. Eagle shows beautiful aging and patina and was once painted complete brown (see bottom bus from the print screen of the Reichsbahn Eagles book by Wilhelm P.B.R. Saris). Size 38 cm (wingspan) and 25 cm high.
