SS service dagger by the rare maker Paul Seilheimer of Solingen. Post-1933 model with an ebony grip. The eagle and grip insignia are original and properly inset. The grip shows signs of use.
The crossguards have not been cleaned.
Very clean and bright blade featuring the motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue.” The blade retains its factory cross grain. The reverse ricasso is marked “RZM 285/38 SS” for the maker Paul Seilheimer, Solingen.
The scabbard retains its original black finish. It was originally painted and then lacquered; the paint remains well preserved in areas, while the lacquer shows age-related wear and has partially flaked in places. Overall appearance is consistent with age.
