A small hunting knife, presumably dating from the post-war period, manufactured by the well-known German company Puma Solingen.
The knife is made in a classic hunting style. The blade is in excellent condition, with a well-preserved bright surface. One side of the blade features engraved decoration with a hunting scene. Near the handle there is the inscription “Ges. Gesch.” On the reverse side of the blade is the manufacturer’s mark “Puma Solingen”.
The handle is made of natural horn and is also in very good condition. The knife is finished with an aluminium pommel.
The knife comes complete with its original leather sheath, which is in excellent condition. The upper part of the sheath has a leather retaining strap with a snap button for securing the knife handle.
A beautiful and well-preserved small hunting knife by the renowned Puma Solingen, making an excellent addition to a collection and a great item for any collector or connoisseur of vintage hunting knives.
