Original bronze commemorative medal issued in 1938 by the Vienna Mint. The obverse features a portrait of the Adolfa Hitlera with the inscription “Der Einer und Führer aller Deutschen.” The reverse shows an imperial orb with the legend “Das Grossdeutsche Reich ist erstanden” and the dates 13.3.1938 – 29.9.1938. Bronze issue (marked “Hauptmünzamt Wien”), diameter approx. 36 mm. Excellent condition, with original presentation box also in excellent condition. A historical collectible for serious collectors of period medals and memorabilia.
