This presentation SA dagger is a customized Suhl dagger in excellent condition. It is a 1933 model with early nickel fittings and a lower guard marked "Sa". The blade of this example is in excellent condition, with a deep SA motto. The reverse side of the ricasso is engraved with the company name and location, "JP Sauer & Sohn Suhl", surrounded by ovals. The handle is free of damage. The scabbard is in excellent condition, with no dents. This item is accompanied by the original brown leather hanger. The hanger features a functional spring clip with the stylized manufacturer's mark "A" from the Assmann company, as well as the "DRGM" marking. This is a fine example of a desirable and less common SA dagger.
