A very rare and hard-to-find long Third Reich dress bayonet for firefighters, featuring a sawtooth blade and complete with a brown leather belt frog. The blade is maker-marked by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co.) and bears a knight’s helmet, confirming its authenticity. This parade bayonet was issued to ordinary members of the fire brigade and represents a unique example of ceremonial weaponry, symbolizing the bravery and dedication of firefighters during the Third Reich. It was used during parades, ceremonies, and official events, and its design reflects the classic shape characteristic of parade weapons of the era.

The base of the bayonet hilt is made of steel with a multilateral cross-section. The steel hilt cap is shaped like a stylized eagle’s head. Both sides of the handle feature embossed black bakelite plates of mesh design, fixed with pins. All metal parts are nickel-plated. The exterior of the hilt is fitted with a brown leather pad that serves as a stopper. The handle cross pin is steel, nickel-plated, with ends bent in different directions.

The blade itself is steel and nickel-plated, leaf-shaped, with a quadrangular cross-section near the heel and triangular in the main section. The upper spine features a sawtooth design, while the tip, measuring approximately 2–3 cm, is finished in the distinctive “shark’s tooth” pattern with transverse lines.

The bayonet scabbard is made of steel and retains its original black finish.
