The blade bears the manufacturer’s mark in the form of a squirrel in an oval with the inscription “Carl Eickhorn Solingen.” On the reverse side of the blade is the marking II FLAK 24, which is also present on the guard. This marking indicates its association with Flak (anti-aircraft artillery) units, adding additional historical and collectible value.
