A rare and impressive 8-place medal bar, consisting of the Iron Cross 2nd Class, War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, NSDAP Long Service Award for 15 Years, NSDAP Long Service Award for 10 Years, Medal for the Annexation of Austria (Anschluss Medal), 1st October 1938 Commemorative Medal, West Wall Medal, and the Air Raid Protection Medal (Luftschutz Medal). The bar is well-preserved overall, with all medals and ribbons neatly mounted. The wool backing, however, shows some moth damage. A highly desirable and uncommon medal bar that reflects both political and military service – a fascinating piece for any serious collection.
