A very attractive German combat fighting knife manufactured by the renowned firm PUMA Solingen, Solingen.
The blade is in excellent original condition and has never been sharpened. The original factory cross-graining is clearly visible, along with the factory grind finish. The blade retains its correct geometry and shows honest age-related patina with light scattered dark spotting, consistent with period use.
The blade is marked with the manufacturer’s code and features the distinctive PUMA Solingen stamp with the iconic Puma head logo in a diamond.
The grip is of classic red-brown bakelite, securely riveted and well preserved.
The scabbard retains its original factory paint and is complete with the original boot-to-tunic attachment clip.
A scarce and highly desirable example of a German fighting knife, in very good original collectible condition.
