Prussian Cavalry Officer’s Saber.
Slightly curved blade with “WKC” maker’s mark, gilded brass hilt with lion head and red glass eyes, shagreen grip with intact wire wrapping. The langet features crossed lances and sabers. The blade is in excellent, near mint condition, with etched decoration appropriate to this type of cavalry saber. Black steel scabbard retaining much of the original black finish; one suspension ring is missing. Light age and handling wear.
