Portepee for kriegsmarine officer’s dagger (early-model)
Authentic early-model Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger portepee, crafted from metallized embroidery wire with a gold-bronze hue. This was originally tied on the dagger and remains exactly as removed — the knot is intact in its original configuration, never untied or altered.
The tassel is in excellent original condition, exhibiting natural patina and light age-related soiling—no tears, fraying, or damage. A rare survivor, preserved in truly authentic condition and highly prized among collectors.
