A rare original letterpress printing block (printing plate / cliché) used for producing leaflets and propaganda materials during the Second World War. The piece features a traditional construction: a solid metal printing plate mounted on a wooden base, typical of early- to mid-20th-century printing technology. The mirrored German inscription reads:
“PANZER NACH VORN!”
(“Tanks Forward!”)
The lower part of the design depicts tanks, with an additional semi-circular relief element on the left side. The image is executed with a very high level of detail, typical of high-quality wartime letterpress plates.
Approximate dimensions: 7 × 10 cm.
The item remains in authentic condition, showing visible age and wear consistent with historical use, which enhances its originality and character. An extremely rare collectible item, highly desirable for collectors of WWII memorabilia, military history, letterpress printing, and propaganda art.
A truly distinctive piece that would enhance any serious collection.
