Original WWII Kriegsmarine officer's belt with buckle, manufactured by FLL in 1940.
The gilt officer's buckle is made of aluminum and retains nearly all of its original gold finish. The reverse side of the buckle is maker-marked FLL 1940.
The belt is black in color. The exterior is covered with moiré fabric, while the interior is lined with velvet. At the end of the belt is a leather tab fitted with a metal hook used to secure the buckle.
The belt is also equipped with two suspension fittings with rings intended for attaching a Kriegsmarine officer's dagger.
The belt and buckle are in excellent collectible condition. There are only minor signs of age and use consistent with the item's period. Overall, the set has been very well preserved.
This original Kriegsmarine officer's belt would make an excellent addition to a Kriegsmarine officer's dagger and would serve as an outstanding complement to a complete and authentic WWII German naval officer's display.
