The knife is in good collector's condition and fully functional. The gravity mechanism operates correctly, and all springs are intact and working properly. The wooden handle scales are in excellent condition, with no noticeable damage.
The blade shows evidence of previous sharpening and subsequent surface refinishing, which has slightly altered its original geometry. However, there is no significant damage.
Despite the condition of the blade, this remains an original WWII collectible with a fully functioning mechanism.
