Original German WWII fighting knife manufactured by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The knife features a wooden handle and a black steel scabbard.
The blade remains in factory condition and has never been sharpened. The original factory cross-grinding (Grobgeschliffen) is still visible on the blade. Age-related spots are also present, consistent with the item's age.
The wooden handle is in excellent condition. The black steel scabbard shows signs of age.
The knife is fitted with a plastic belt hanger, characteristic of the later period of the war. Examples featuring this type of plastic belt hanger are considered less common.
