German combat knife M42 from the World War II era, manufactured by Tiger, Solingen. The wooden grip scales, secured with rivets, are fully intact and in good condition. The blade shows signs of age — characteristic darkening and patina spots. The blade has been sharpened. The knife comes with steel scabbard with a metal clip. The paint on the scabbard is largely worn off. Despite this, a very fine and attractive example.
