The set includes the original award document issued to Gefr. Wilhelm Pfund in Wiesbaden on December 31, 1940. The document names Lieutenant General Heilingbrunner as the commanding officer of Luftgau XII/XIII and bears the corresponding ink stamp.
The medal is in excellent condition, with the bronze finish completely preserved. It retains its long original ribbon. The document is also in excellent condition, without tears, rips, or paper loss.
A very interesting and rare Luftwaffe-related set that would make a fine addition to any collection.
