A bust of a Luftwaffe soldier on a white cream marble base with a plaque and a striking profile depiction.
The sculpture is in very good condition, with the dark “chocolate” finish well preserved. The white cream marble base is also in excellent condition and features a metal plaque with the inscription:
“Das Unteroffizier-Korps des Stabszuges d.L.d.L.N.S. Halle”
The total height of the piece is approximately 23 cm.
Such busts are extremely rare, and examples depicting Luftwaffe soldiers of this particular style are encountered noticeably less often than comparable Wehrmacht busts.
The piece is of interest for collectors and displays very well in a cabinet or on a desk.
