Kriegsmarine U-boat badge by Schwerin, Berlin. Tombac construction with soldered-on setup. Unmarked, typical Schwerin production. Excellent condition with all fire-gilded finish present on the obverse and a shiny boat and swastika.
Absolute premium example. With its fire gilding, so-called “Feuervergoldung”, a true treat to the eye!
It would be difficult to upgrade this mint tombac U-boat badge.
The badge comes complete with its original cardboard box. The box is structurally intact and sound, retaining its original shape, but is covered with blue paper, which shows areas of wear and paper loss.
