Kriegsmarine Minesweeper Badge by Schwerin, Berlin. Tombac construction with soldered-on hardware. Maker marked on the reverse. Very good condition.
The badge has a slight, gentle curve, made by its original owner during the period of wear to ensure a better fit against the tunic. Such individual adjustments were sometimes made to badges worn directly on the uniform.
