Italian bayonet-knife for the M1 carbine. This example was manufactured in 1966, as indicated on the blade. The opposite side of the blade is stamped with serial number F94998. The grip scales are made of bakelite. Workmanship is of high quality. Scabbard — an Italian-made M8 copy: body made of fiberglass with an olive-green gel coat; belt hanger is khaki-tan cotton webbing. Condition: new, unused. The piece was conserved and stored in vacuum packaging.
