Very rare repeat award clasp for the Iron Cross 2nd Class, produced by Boerger & Co., Berlin.
This type of repeat award is significantly rarer than standard versions, which already makes this piece especially interesting for collectors.
The clasp is made in a standard size; however, it has a distinctive attachment system — it is secured with two prongs, unlike the more common four-prong variants. This is an important structural feature of this specific type.
Made of tombak. The condition is excellent: almost all of the original silvering is preserved. The swastika features a pronounced “frosted” silver finish, which enhances the relief and gives the piece a very attractive appearance.
The overall condition is practically perfect, with minimal signs of age. All structural elements are intact and the mounting system is fully preserved.
A very rare and beautiful repeat award clasp in outstanding collectible condition.
