Iron Cross 1st Class by Rudolf Wächtler & Lange, marked L/55, with the maker’s mark on the inside of the pin.
Excellent condition. The cross is fully preserved: the core is in perfect condition, with 100% intact black paint and no losses whatsoever. The frame is well polished, and a frosted, silvery finish can be seen through the patina, highlighting its originality and natural aging.
The set also includes its original case, which is in excellent condition. The inside of the lid is marked with the manufacturer’s code L/55. The box is also well preserved, with no significant damage, remaining in collectible condition.
Overall, this is a complete and well-preserved set, showing no signs of restoration or intervention, with a strong and natural original patina.
