Iron Cross 1st Class by Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida.
Three-piece construction with a magnetic iron core and a soldered-on screwback cylinder. Maker marked on the reverse with the LDO code “L/55”. Very good condition with all matte black core paint intact. No repairs, no damage.
There is a minor factory imperfection: the screwback is slightly tilted in relation to the cross, which does not affect its functionality in any way.
A very attractive L/55 screwback example in excellent condition.
