1939 Iron Cross 1st Class by Ferdinand Hoffstätter, Bonn. Three-piece construction with a non-magnetic iron core. Maker marked on the reverse with the LDO code FH “L/19” beneath the catch. The frame shows light patina while the polished surface is still visible. The core is almost completely covered with black paint, showing only very minor signs of wear or tiny paint chips. Overall, in very good condition.
Comes in its original LDO case, which is also in very good condition.
