Iron cross 1st class by Boerger & Co., Berlin. Three part construction with magnetic, iron core and soldered on set up. Rare straight pin variant with hollow hinge pin! Maker marked with the LDO code of Boerger "L/57" on the reverse of the cross. The cross remains in excellent condition. Very light overall patina. The cross comes in its rare matching "Halbetui". Case in very good condition. 
Premium L/57 set, would be hard to upgrade this rarity.
