The blade is in excellent condition and has never been sharpened, retaining its original factory cross-grain finish. It shows only minor age-related marks consistent with its history. The manufacturer's mark Clemen & Jung is clearly visible on one side of the blade, while the Imperial German military acceptance stamp is present on the opposite side.
The grip features its original wooden scales, which remain in very good condition.
The knife is complete with its original black-painted metal scabbard and leather belt loop.
