This is an exceptionally rare early Hitler Youth bayonet, not a standard HJ knife, but a true transitional bayonet-style piece, produced before the mass-issued models became standard. Unlike typical HJ knives, this early example was constructed in the form of a bayonet, making it highly unusual and collectible.
The blade is in excellent condition, featuring the classic HJ motto "Blut und Ehre!" on one side and the maker's mark of Anton Wingen, Solingen with the traditional knight logo on the reverse. The handle features intact grip plates with the enamel HJ diamond inset — enamel is undamaged.
The scabbard retains its original paint, showing honest signs of use and age. The leather hanger is original, soft, and fully intact, which is rare for early pieces of this type. No repairs or restorations.
