Kavallerie Statue. A well-preserved and extremely detailed Heer cavalry statue, constructed of die cast bronze. It consists of a horse wearing a saddle and harness, the former complete with pouches, saddle bags, and a sabre. Mounted on the horse is a Heer soldier in full uniform and wearing a Stahlhelm. The soldier points to an objective in the distance and appears as if shouting orders to compatriots. Exceptionally detailed, the soldier features a removable Karabiner 98k rifle which inserts into a wire slot on the reverse, as well as a wire harness gripped in his free hand. The statue is mounted on a multi-level base, consisting of a bronze pedestal. Unmarked, the statue measures 95 mm (w) x 230 mm (l) x 290 mm (h). Excellent condition.
