Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dress Dagger with Scabbard — WKC
A well-preserved original Kriegsmarine officer’s dress dagger by WKC, in excellent overall condition.
The nickel-plated steel blade is clean and shiny, with crisp etched designs, and remains free from damage. The ricasso bears a clear maker’s mark — an image of a knight’s head wearing a helmet, with the inscription “WKC.”
The bronze crossguard features fouled anchors and a bright, fully functional push-button lock.
The yellow ribbed celluloid grip retains its original twisted wire and shows only minor signs of use.
The pommel with the German eagle and swastika is in excellent condition, with typical signs of age but no damage.
The scabbard is original and of a rare type with a “scaly” pattern, made of gilded bronze. It is also in excellent condition and free from dents.
A solid original example in good collectible condition that would make an excellent addition to any collection.
