A fully original Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger in outstanding collector’s condition. The blade is mirror-bright, flawless, with crisp etchings of a fouled anchor, arabesques, and wave motifs. The ricasso bears a clear “Paul Weyersberg, Solingen” maker’s mark. The grip is white celluloid with an original twisted bronze wire wrap. The pommel features a German eagle with a highly polished swastika, retaining its vivid, fiery gilt finish. The scabbard is an original hammered brass example, with a distinct “pebble” texture. Oak leaf suspension bands with rings are intact. The scabbard shows no dents, with bright, even gilding.
A rare piece in true collector’s grade condition, very hard to upgrade.
