The National Socialist League for Physical Exercise (NSRL) managed sports clubs and associations in Nazi Germany and occupied Austria. NSRL awarded athletes for achievements, promoting physical fitness, fostering a sense of unity, and boosting the morale of the population. This award features a plaque indicating that it was presented to the best marksman (Dem besten Schützen) in the NSRL group competition (Rb. Gruppenschießen) Pz.R/3 on May 17, 1939. The marble base has a small chip in the upper right corner. The NSRL eagle and swastika display a very beautiful patina, without damage. Condition is good, with minor signs of age.
