This is a German paratrooper gravity knife, Type 4 FKM AES83, manufactured by Eickhorn. The knife comes as a complete set and is a rare example. Officially known as the Bundeswehr Fallschirmjäger-Messer, it features an additional lower spike. Both the blade and the spike function properly. Blade marked with the iconic Eickhorn squirrel logo. The handle is marked with “AES83”, with “West Germany” inscribed on the reverse side. The knife is in mint condition and has never been used.
