Original commemorative medal issued for the XI Olympic Games held in Berlin, 1936. Awarded to individuals who contributed to the organization and running of the Games.
The obverse shows the Olympic rings above the German eagle with the date 1936. Complete with the original red ribbon with white stripes, mounted on a single pin-back bar. The reverse of the bar retains the maker’s label: Max Klist, Berlin S.W.19, Niederwallstr. 32.
A scarce and desirable piece in good condition, showing attractive age patina and 100% original assembly. Excellent addition to any Olympic or historical medal collection.
