This is an exceptionally rare early Hitler Youth bayonet, not a standard HJ knife, but a true transitional bayonet-style piece produced before the mass-issued models became standard. Unlike typical HJ knives, this early example was constructed in the form of a bayonet, making it highly unusual and collectible.

The blade is in excellent condition. One side bears the maker's mark of E. Pack & Söhne, Solingen, along with the company's distinctive logo. The blade retains crisp geometry and a well-preserved surface.

The handle features original grip plates with the enamel Hitler Youth diamond inset. The enamel shows a small crack, but there are no chips, and the emblem remains very well preserved.

The scabbard retains its original paint, showing honest signs of age and use. The leather hanger is original, supple, and fully intact, which is rarely encountered on early pieces of this type. There are no repairs or restorations.

The final photograph shows the bayonet disassembled. This image was provided by the previous owner prior to purchase, as the piece was taken apart to inspect the internal components and confirm that everything was original and in proper condition.

A very rare and desirable early Hitler Youth bayonet variant, seldom encountered on the market, especially in such complete and well-preserved condition.
