Empty original burgundy box for the Wound Badge in Silver. First-type LDO box, featuring the characteristic LDO logo on the top of the lid.
The reverse of the bottom bears the maker’s marking: Wilhelm Deumer, "L/11".
The box features its original hinge and opens and closes properly. Inside is a cardboard insert covered with velvet for holding the badge. The inside of the lid is lined with white paper.
The box is in excellent condition. A very rare and highly desirable collector’s piece.
