Early SA Dagger by Carl Eickhorn with original paper packet.

The blade is in excellent condition and shows strong original factory cross-graining. It has never been sharpened or cleaned in any way. The acid-etched motto “Alles für Deutschland” and the maker mark Carl Eickhorn (squirrel in oval) are both clearly defined and show a typical light grey contrasting tone. The blade slides smoothly in and out of the scabbard with a proper tight fit. The nickel fittings on the crossguards and pommel retain an even, age-appropriate patina. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped “Wf”. The wooden grip is of a medium brown tone, free of cracks and showing only normal service wear. The SA eagle and roundel are perfectly fitted and retain 100% of their enamel. The brown anodized scabbard shows typical period surface “spidering”. The nickel fittings are securely held in place by four original dome head screws.

Also included is the original paper packet by Carl Eickhorn, which is slightly damaged. The packet shows faint pencil writing.

A very fine and honest example of an early SA dagger by Carl Eickhorn, complete with its original packaging.
