Early SA M33 Dagger by Emil Voos, Solingen, in very good condition

The bright blade of this example is in excellent, nearly perfect condition. The crossgrain finish catches the light beautifully, and the dark, crisp acid-etched motto “Alles für Deutschland” remains well-defined. On the ricasso, the maker’s mark Emil Voos, Solingen is clearly visible — the manufacturer’s distinctive snake logo is well struck. The blade shows only minor marks from the scabbard springs. The blade shoulders perfectly match the contour of the lower crossguard, and the tip comes to a fine point. Overall, the blade rates near mint.

The reverse side of the crossguard bears the marking “Nm” (Nordmark), indicating the regional SA group in northern Germany. All metal fittings retain their original nickel-plated finish.

On the lower crossguard, as well as on the upper and lower scabbard fittings, there is an identical hand-engraved marking “Mar 4 3591”, likely indicating the dagger’s assignment to a specific SA member or unit.

The grip is in excellent condition. The scabbard has no dents; most of the original finish remains, with only minor signs of age and natural patina.

An attractive early SA dagger by the well-known manufacturer Emil Voos, Solingen, featuring a unique hand-engraved marking, and a fine addition to any serious collection.
