For sale is an early original Luftwaffe Type 1 gravity knife, made by SMF Solingen. This iconic WWII piece features a stainless steel blade that deploys smoothly and locks securely in place.
The knife remains in great condition. The wooden handle scales are intact with minor wear, and the overall construction is solid. The blade has not been sharpened; there is a small chip at the tip (clearly visible in the photos), as well as surface scratches on the blade. No major damage is present. The gravity mechanism works perfectly.
