We present an original decorative set in a unified style dedicated to the Luftwaffe.
The set includes:
a wall-mounted plaque (relief panel) in a wooden frame;
a Luftwaffe soldier bust on a marble base.
The plaque features a detailed relief depicting a military scene, presumably made of light metal (aluminum or similar alloy), set in a solid wooden frame. The reverse side has a hanging loop for wall display.
The bust depicts a Luftwaffe soldier wearing a characteristic helmet with insignia and is mounted on a solid marble base.
Both items are fitted with original plaques bearing the following inscriptions:
on the plaque:
“Zur Vermählung gew. v. Uffz. Korps 3./Flak Regt. 10”
on the bust base:
“Uffz. Korps 3./Flak Regt. 10”
(The inscriptions refer to the NCO corps of the 3rd battery, 10th Flak Regiment of the Luftwaffe; the phrase “Zur Vermählung” translates as “on the occasion of a marriage / wedding gift”.)
Condition: the set is in excellent collectible condition, with no damage, chips, or signs of restoration. All elements are original and well preserved.
This set will make an excellent addition to any military or historical collection, as well as a striking interior display piece.
