Civil Official’s Sword, Germany, 19th–20th Century
For sale is an elegant civil official’s sword with the maker’s mark E.&F. Hörster, Solingen. The blade is in perfect condition, without chips or signs of sharpening, retaining its original factory shine and engravings. On the guard, a former owner’s name is visible, scratched by hand. The grip and guard remain intact and in excellent condition. The leather scabbard is straight, undamaged, and well preserved. A rare collectible piece, fully original and exceptionally well kept.
